Kahui - Tipua

In legend, the first inhabitants of New Zealand were an ancient tribe of Ogres and Giants that lived in caves in the Marlborough region. They were said to hunt with two-headed dogs. Not much more detail can be located regarding these beings although they are definitely worthy of mention as part of the extensive Maori mythology.
